Finding the right meeting space can make all the difference, whether you’re hosting a one-to-one, a team training session or a larger conference.

At The Landmark in Burnley, businesses can enjoy modern meeting facilities in a stunning Grade II listed building, combining historic charm with a professional, welcoming atmosphere.

But don’t just take our word for it!

We recently caught up with Anna, co-owner of Bandicoot, a Burnley-based managed service provider (MSP) that’s been operating for 22 years. As a regular attendee and co-chair of Shout Network meetings held at The Landmark, Anna shared what makes the venue such a great place for local businesses to come together.

A welcoming, professional place to meet

For Anna, it’s not just the meeting spaces themselves that make The Landmark stand out. It’s the whole experience, from the convenient location to the friendly team and refreshments available.

“We love it here because it’s really central. Because the staff are really friendly, nothing’s ever too much trouble, tea and coffee and refreshments, breakfast is really good. It’s a great venue.”

And it’s not just the service that leaves an impression. The Landmark’s historic surroundings offer something a little different from your typical meeting venue.

“The Landmark is a fantastic building. It’s so brilliant that Burnley has all these wonderful heritage buildings. It’s absolutely beautiful. It’s got all this history with it.”

Meeting spaces for every occasion

Whether you’re planning a small business meeting or bringing together a much larger group, The Landmark offers a variety of spaces to suit different needs.

The Pendle Boardroom is ideal for one-to-ones and offsite meetings of up to 10 people, while the Calder & Brun Suites offer flexible layouts for workshops, training sessions and meetings of up to 40.

For a more traditional setting, The Old Library provides an elegant space for board meetings, while The Great Hall can accommodate conferences of up to 120 people.

Anna particularly appreciates the combination of historic character and practical facilities:

“It’s got the Great Hall upstairs, which is a fantastic facility for anyone to host a really sort of posh event, then it’s got these really practical training rooms.

“There’s always flip charts, all the seats are comfortable, it’s smart, it’s professional, and the toilets are always beautifully clean. It’s just a really nice professional place to host your events at.”

Make your next meeting a Landmark occasion

With flexible meeting spaces, modern facilities, optional catering and a convenient location close to Burnley town centre, The Landmark provides everything you need for a successful meeting.

And Anna’s recommendation?

“I would strongly recommend the Landmark to anybody who wants a professional venue where they can host their meetings and feel really welcome and comfortable.”
